Pousada É is located between "The Coast of Discovery" and "The Coast of the Wales", on the lovely beach of River of the Big Fish, surrounded by the tranquillity of the Atlantic Forest and just 3,5km from the centre of Cumuruxatiba, a small fishing village.

The 12 apartments all face the sea and are divided into 4 blocks. The two side blocks being the targest with double suites-bedroom and living room separate to garantee space and comfort for families wanting to provide extra space for their children. The 2 central blocks with a total of 8 apartments provide 4 standard apartments on the ground floor and 4 luxury apartments on the top floor with douple bed on a mezzanine level..

The common area is made up of parking space, a large comfortable living area providing TV/DVD bar, library and restaurant. There is also a gym and playroom with snooker, ping-pong and other games. A space for infants has also been provided and for the sporty the pousada offers a pool as well as kayaks and bicycles with which to explore.

The Pousada has its own generator to garantee that no shortage of power can disturts its guests.

In search of a better lifestyle for our reitirement years and a desire to leave behind the lack of security and the pollution of the big city, we decided to buy a pousada and destiny brought us happily to Cumuruxatiba where our car came to a grinding halt giving us the sign that indeed this was the place.

We arrived in the year 2000 and from the beginning tooked to provide our guests with a very personal service, creating a family atmosphere for all. We, Hans (Swiss) and Esther (from Minas Gerais but brought up in Rio de Janeiro) having travelled extensively, have tried to make sure that our attention to detail and the quality of our cuisine leave nothing to be desired, in a comfortable and relaxing ambient..
